Press Release
www.smsmp3.co.uk
In November 2005 my wife Amanda Wilson
lost her Mum to Leukaemia. She had been diagnosed with a very rare condition
called Reactive Polychondritis (RP for short). She'd only had this condition
for a couple of months before being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML
for short).
A very short time after that
unfortunately she passed away quietly on the evening of the 4th
November 2005. We decided to find a way of raising awareness and funds for both
these conditions.
What
is it?
This is a legal online site where you can buy music
tracks at any time at a low price. Most of the tracks are only 80
pence GBP a track. Also with this site as soon as you have paid for the
tracks and downloaded them to your computer you can use them as many times as
you like and transfer them with no limits (All the materials are available
solely for personal use. Further distribution, resale or broadcasting is
prohibited). All tracks are in mp3 format.
How
good is the quality of the downloads?
All the tracks are in mp3 format and with a bit rate of 320
Kbps. (which is really good quality) because the tracks are in mp3 format they
will work in any mp3 player including ipods!! There are no restrictions on the
files unlike some download sites (iTunes, Napster)
What
is this NOT?
This is NOT one
of those download sites where you download off other people (P2P - Peer to
Peer). This site is NOT one of those
download sites were you have to download software to buy any of the music (like
iTunes). This site is NOT one of
those download sites were you have to sign up to a subscription to keep
listening to the tracks you have bought (Like the NEW napster).
Is
this fully legal in the UK?
Yes it is!! The website pays license fees for all the
materials subject to our licence from mcps.
How do I pay?
We use PayPal; you can pay for your
tracks using any VISA, Solo, Switch, MasterCard, Diners Club or JCB card. All
payments are secure!!
The latest chart hits plus classic tracks.
More tracks added everyday.
15 pence from each track goes to charity.
